Boston fertility experts compared notes at this year’s annual American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) meeting.

After travelling over 10,000 miles to attend the Boston fertility meeting, Dr. Robert J. Norman received the ASRM Distinguished Researcher Award.  Dr. Norman is the Director of The Robinson Institute and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Adelaide in South Australia.  He shared his research with other Boston IVF physicians.  His work focuses on factors affecting fertility and links to the early origins of disease, which has led to his introduction of innovative lifestyle programs to combat the adverse effects of obesity on fertility and pregnancy complications. Dr. Norman and others set up the Australian Fertility Coalition to educate patients on lifestyle factors that affect getting pregnant.
