NutriMed: A New Weight Loss Program Offered by FCNE and Nutrition Solution Group

The Fertility Centers of New England (FCNE) and the Nutrition Solution Group announce an innovative weight loss program designed specifically for women trying to have a healthy baby. Studies have shown that fertility is most successful when a woman’s BMI is between 20 to 28 and that the chances for a successful pregnancy are significantly compromised if the BMI is >35.  Therefore, we are offering a new medically supervised weight loss program, NutriMed, for patients with a BMI greater than 35.  The NutriMed program is designed to deliver rapid weight loss—typically, three to four pounds a week, for an average of 42 pounds in 12 weeks.  Women enrolled in this program will work one-on-one with a dietitian to make the lifestyle and behavior changes necessary to ensure long-term success.  If you are interested in participating in this new program please contact FCNE at either by email or phone 877-FCNE-IVF to schedule a physician appointment or call 617-564-3438 to schedule an appointment with a dietitian at the Nutrition Solution Group.
