Robert Carrasquillo, M.D.

Dr. Carrasquillo is a Reproductive Urologist with advanced fellowship training in microsurgery and the treatment of all forms of male infertility. He obtained his medical degree at Harvard Medical School, graduating as president of his class in 2012. Dr. Carrasquillo then completed his internship in Surgery and residency in Urology at Boston University Medical Center, followed by a rigorous fellowship in Reproductive Medicine & Surgery at the University of Miami.

In August of 2018, he returned to Boston as faculty in the Division of Urology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. In 2022, he transitioned to the faculty at the Lahey Institute of Urology at Lahey Hospital, where he serves as co-director for the Center for Sexual and Reproductive Health.

He has presented at annual meetings of the American Urological Association as well as the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and he has authored multiple publications in the field of male reproduction. Dr. Carrasquillo is also a space exploration and astrobiology enthusiast and serves as an advisor for Spaceborn United, studying the feasibility of human reproduction in space environments, and also developing new technology and process improvements that may benefit assisted reproduction here on Earth.
